Official Update: Paper-Based IELTS Ends in Bangladesh on Feb 1st, 2026

Paper-Based IELTS is officially coming to a close in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is moving fully toward digital testing as the paper-based IELTS exam will no longer be available nationwide. From February 1, 2026, all British Council and IDP test centers in Bangladesh will conduct IELTS only in a computer-delivered format. Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking sections will stay the same, and the scoring system will also remain exactly as it is.
